On a resume, campus experience, social practice and skills all sit flat on a sheet of A4 paper.
I wanted people to see not just what I did, but how I did it and what it looks like. So I built a portfolio:
I built it on an open-source template (AstroWind: Astro + Tailwind), deployed on Vercel. The point is to spend effort on content and structure, not on Hello World.
But "borrowing a template" isn't "keeping a template". I did three things:
Building a site is like bookkeeping: set up the framework (chart of accounts), fill in the content (post entries), then reconcile (cross-check). The template is the ledger; I define the accounts, record every entry, and make sure every number can stand scrutiny.
This site keeps growing — new work, new research, new thinking all settle here.
